The community of Flachau is located in the heart of the province of Salzburg.

Choose from the following options for your journey to Salzburg:
Arrival by car
You approach your holiday destination Flachau from the north from Salzburg or from the south from Villach on the Tauern Autobahn A10. Leave the motorway at the exit “Flachau”. Keep in the direction of “Ortszentrum” and turn right at the first traffic island.
The Hotel Lacknerhof awaits you at the address Unterberggasse 172.
On the Austrian motorways a vignette is mandatory. You can buy these toll stickers at petrol stations or tobacco kiosks for either ten days, two months or one year. In the event of an inspection, failure to observe this requirement may result in severe penalties, so please take precautions and buy a vignette for your car.
You will find the most modern TESLA charging stations right next to our hotel.
Arrival by plane
You land at Salzburg Airport (SZG). Numerous scheduled flights connect the most important airport in western Austria with many European cities. Munich Airport is also within easy reach (two hours drive) from Flachau. At the airport, stations of various rental car companies are available to you.
Of course, you can also continue your journey from Salzburg Airport by public transport. A bus line 2 will take you to Salzburg main station, then continue as described for train travel. The most comfortable, easiest and cheaper way than a rental car is to use a shuttle service, which will bring you directly to the Hotel Lacknerhof in Flachau. On request, the hotel team will organise this airport transfer for you.
Arrival by train
If you arrive by train, you avoid possible traffic jams on the roads and also protect the climate. Get on the train at your home, the stop for your holiday at the Schlosshotel Lacknerhof in Salzburg is either “St. Johann im Pongau” or “Radstadt”. From there the hotel taxi will gladly pick you up free of charge and take you to Flachau.

Arrival with the shuttle service
If you wish to arrive by train or plane, the Schlosshotel Lacknerhof will gladly organize a shuttle service from the train station or airport to Flachau. By train you arrive in St. Johann or Radstadt. Simply inform the hotel team of your arrival time and you will be taken from these train stations to the Schlosshotel Lacknerhof free of charge.
From Salzburg airport, a shuttle bus will take you to Flachau. If you inform the hotel team of your arrival time, the Schlosshotel Lacknerhof will organize the reservation for you.
