In 2006 the Paraguay national team prepared for the Football World Championship in Germany at Hotel Lacknerhof. Later that year, the teams of Saturn Moscow, Dynamo Moscow, Maccabi Haifa and AEK Athens prepared for the upcoming season here. In 2007 the teams of FK Austria Magna Vienna, Dinamo Bukarest, Dynamo Moscow and Maccabi Haifa came here for their training camp.

In July 2008 the teams Lock Vladivostok, Austria Vienna, Steaua Bucharest and the VFL Wolfsburg with their coach Felix Magath held their training camp at Lacknerhof Hotel.

In 2009, Austria Vienna (for the 3rd time) and the German national league advancer Mainz 05 with trainer Andersen held their training here.

In the summer of 2010 we were able to welcome Austria Vienna (4th time) and the German Bundesliga Mainz 05 with coach Thomas Tuchel. At the end of August, the Austrian national football team coach Didi Constantini prepared his team for qualifying round of the Euro Cup at Hotel Lacknerhof.

More recently, in 2011 Austria Vienna (5th time) and Mainz 05 (3rd time) came here to prepare for the upcoming national football season and the Euro League qualification round.
