Sauna room (Finnish Sauna)
Visiting the sauna is a life philosophy. At 94 °C the cardiovascular system is activated and the body will dispose of everyday waste products through the skin. Before and after each application we recommend foot baths in alternating hot and cold water.
Sanarium with coloured light therapy
The Sanarium is a medicinally used heat bath with temperatures of approximately 50 °C and an air humidity of approximately 50%. The four spectral colours red, green, blue and yellow will have a positive effect on your entire body.
Kneipp cures
In a Kneipp cure the healing power of water is used. Cold and hot stimulation is ideal training for the blood vessels and nerve endings in the skin as well as in the inner organs. This forms the basis of the Kneipp therapy.
Salt water dome
The salt water dome instantly generates a feeling of well-being. The mineral salts from the dead sea also have a comforting effect on the body's balance. The organism can relax better, cell regeneration is improved, the excretion of toxins is intensified.
Soft herbal steam bath
The effect of ray heat on health and well-being has been known since the times of Roman thermal baths. In combination with rare herbs you will find a pleasant surrounding for body and soul in the herbal steam bath. Guests only have to press a button to add herbal oils, like rosemary, melissa, hayflower or camomile to the steam. The specific temperature in this booth is approximately 55 degrees centigrade. A Kneipp hose is available for cooling down during the therapy.
Vitarium
The Vitarium consists of pre-heated ceramic beds, which have a temperature of 35 °C. After about 15 minutes of relaxation, strong sweating sets in. This is especially suitable for people who find a normal sauna too hot.
Guided sauna visits
Several times each week our sauna director Richard will organise a guided sauna visit. He will pamper you in different sauna visits, sprinkling water with sea salt, honey or vitamins over the stones. In addition to this he is always at your disposal to give you advice and a helping hand.
Aroma steam bath
In the aroma steam bath the steam is complete with various aromas. These have a positive effect on body and soul.
Salt water grotto
In the new saltwater grotto the walls are lined with pure Himalaya salt stones. In the warm, extremely humid and salty air the body will become fit for the daily work again.
Ice grotto
Enter a cool world with illuminated waterfall made of ice and a crushed ice well. Rubbing yourself down with ice has a pleasant effect after a sauna visit will revive your cardiovascular system and strengthen your immune system.
Waterfall shower
In the waterfall shower you can choose between four shower types – tropical rain, ice rain, thunderstorm rain or waterfall.
Mountain lake
After visiting the sauna dive into the Lacknerhof's own mountain spring water to refresh.
Infra-red booth
Infra-red light is deep heat radiation that will reload the body's energy and can be a remedy for many ailments (e.g. joint aches, depression, cold or skin problems). The red light will turn on automatically as soon as anyone sits down in front of the ceramic light.
Panorama whirlpool
The central piece of our new wellness palace is the panorama whirlpool with a view on the surrounding mountain world. Numerous air and water massage jets ensure pleasant relaxation.
Castle café
After or between sauna visits you can gather your strength with non-alcoholic beverages and small wellness snacks in the Castle café and relax during comfortable talks.

In our new, generous rest and relaxation rooms you will find time to let your soul rest. Choose if you prefer to read the newspapers in our comfortable lounge, whether you want to relax in the Belvedere room with view on the castle or if you want to rest on preheated water-beds in the Bellevue room..
